Casus E. - Visuele en conceptuele problemen tegen de achtergrond van een zich herstellende afasie

In this article, clinical dilemmas in language diagnostics and language therapy are discussed for the consecutive stages of rehabilitation in the case of our patient E. E. had a stroke, resulting in disorders in language, visual perception and concept formation. After an introduction of this complex case, diagnostics, therapy and support will be described. E. went through a long-lasting rehabilitation period, wherin the clinical syndrome evolved from global aphasia to more specific problems in reading and writing.
